Berlin, October 19, 2023. Menstrual discomfort is a monthly suffering for many women1. menstruflow, an innovative FemHealth startup from Berlin, introduces the ONEflow TENS device, a groundbreaking, 100% drug-free solution that allows menstruating individuals to go about their daily lives without annoying pain.

Natural pain relief through innovative technology

The ONEflow TENS device utilizes Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), a method that has been proven in studies to reduce menstrual pain by more than 50% after just two uses. 74% of users report noticeable relief within 20 minutes, lasting on average over 7 hours2. Furthermore, it has been found that TENS significantly reduces chronic pelvic pain in women with deep-seated endometriosis3,4. Co-founder Polina is optimistic: "With the ONEflow, we aim for an era where no menstruating person has to postpone their daily activities due to menstrual pain."

Mobility meets discretion

The compact design of the ONEflow TENS device allows it to be worn discreetly under clothing. Thanks to the mobile “To-Go” version with Drop Pads and a practical clip, users can take the device anywhere and continue their daily lives without limitations from menstrual pain.

From personal suffering to an innovative solution

Do you know this too? The monthly menstrual pains that limit quality of life and emotional well-being? Co-founder Polina knew this all too well. On a particularly painful day during a vacation, she and her partner asked: "Is there no other solution than painkillers or the pill?". This question was not met with a “No”, but with joint research that led them to TENS technology, known in physiotherapy for relieving muscle pain. But could this technology also help with menstrual pain? This was followed by a big “YES”. Together with gynecologist Dr. med. Ulrike Lange, they explored the application of TENS for menstrual pain and were excited about the possibilities. Dr. Lange expressed her amazement: "It's amazing to see how a technology, previously used in a completely different field, has the potential to change the lives of millions of menstruating individuals." The collaboration between Polina and Dr. Lange led to the development of the ONEflow TENS device - a solution born out of necessity and heart. menstruflow is more than a product; it is the result of a personal journey of suffering that turned into a mission: to enable menstruating people worldwide to live without restrictions.
